MoodNyang Merge Privacy Policy
Effective: October 10, 2026 (previous version: September 12, 2026, for iOS only) · Ad-related content applies from iOS 1.0.2, and for Android from the first version, 1.1.0 · Operator: PIL GWON KIM
MoodNyang Merge (formerly MoodNyang Nap Basket) is a puzzle game for iPhone and Android where you stack and merge cats (com.sonetto.moodnyangnap). You can play on your device without signing up. Automatic posting to the online ranking is on by default and can be turned off on the Info screen.
Information stored on your device
We keep your basket in progress, scores, cat tiers, records of finished games, and sound and haptic settings on your device. If you use the online ranking, an anonymous authentication session and the ranks you looked up most recently are also kept on your device. Records on your device are removed when you delete the app data.
Information used for the online ranking
When you look up the ranking or post a finished score automatically for the first time, we create an anonymous user identifier with Supabase. The first record of 1 point or more on the day you finish a game and any better record are posted automatically, and we store a round identifier, the score, the tier reached, the date of completion and the time the server registered it. The ranking shows an automatically assigned Cat Butler number, the score, the tier and the rank. We do not ask you to enter an email address, phone number or real name.
This information is used to tell your own records apart, to tally ranks, to prevent duplicate entries and to limit the number of requests. The server infrastructure may process technical logs such as IP addresses to handle requests and for security. There is no ad SDK in iOS 1.0.1 and earlier. The ad service used from iOS 1.0.2, and on Android from the first version, is described separately below.
Ads and privacy choices — from iOS 1.0.2 and Android 1.1.0
We serve a banner below the game and ranking screens, and some interstitial ads when you move on to the next game after one ends, through Google AdMob. You can play even if no ad is ready or you are not connected to the internet. To control how often ads appear, we store the number of games you have finished and the time of the last ad shown on your device.
On both iOS and Android, ads are non-personalized, we request only ads rated for all ages (G), and the publisher's first-party identifiers are disabled. Even non-personalized ads involve data processing needed for ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregation, fraud prevention and improving SDK quality. The Google SDK may process an approximate location inferred from your IP address, device- or app-scoped identifiers, ad impression and interaction information, and app performance and diagnostic information. We do not put your ranking score or Cat Butler number into ad requests.
- iOS: The app does not request access to the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not ask the "Allow Tracking" question.
- Android: The app includes the advertising ID permission (AD_ID), so the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process the Google Play advertising ID and the app set ID for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Ad requests are non-personalized, as on iOS. You can reset or delete the advertising ID under device Settings > Privacy (or Google) > Ads.
We use Google's consent management feature to present privacy choices in regions where they are required. Where you can make the choice again, you can change it in Info → Ad privacy choices on the home screen. For how long Google keeps and deletes the information it processes and for exercising your rights, please see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Deleting your online account in the game is not a way to delete Google's advertising data.
Retention and deletion
Public ranking records are kept until you ask for them to be deleted. "Remove public record" in the ranking deletes only your own online scores. "Info → Delete online account" on the home screen deletes the online scores linked to your anonymous account. In both cases, the basket and scores on your device are kept, auto-post is turned off and any waiting unsent records are cleared. Even if you turn it on again, only records finished afterwards are posted, and past records on your device are not published all at once. If you open the ranking again after deleting your account, a new anonymous account is created. A deleted anonymous account cannot be recovered.
You can keep playing without using the online features. Infrastructure security logs and backups may be handled under the service provider's retention and deletion policies.
Processing services
We use Supabase for online authentication and data storage. For details on infrastructure privacy handling, see the Supabase Privacy Policy. We do not sell the information you post to the ranking or use it for ad targeting.
