Terms of Use

Thank you for playing ColorPirates (operated by PlaySonetto). These terms apply to using the app, registering a nickname for the Challenge Mode ranking, and the Remove Ads purchase in the iPhone and iPad app. If you downloaded the app from the App Store, its use is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA); if you downloaded it from Google Play, by the Google Play Terms of Service. These terms add rules for the ranking and the purchase.

1. Registering a nickname

• The Challenge Mode ranking is optional. It's used only when you choose a nickname (1–7 characters) and register it yourself.
• Your registered nickname and best streak are visible to everyone on the ranking screen.
• You must agree to these terms to register.

2. Zero tolerance for objectionable nicknames

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following nicknames are never allowed:

• Profanity, slurs, hate speech, or discrimination against any group
• Sexual content, or content encouraging violence or self-harm
• Impersonating another person or the operator, or other people's personal information
• Advertising, promotion, or illegal content

The app and server filter banned words on registration, and any nickname that slips through but breaks these rules will be removed.

3. Reporting and hiding

• Tap Report on the right of any row on the ranking screen to report an offensive nickname, or hide it on your own screen right away.
• Nicknames reported by several users are hidden automatically.
• The operator reviews reports within 24 hours, hides or removes nicknames that break the rules above, and blocks the users who posted them from the ranking.

4. Records and fair play

• The ranking is a just-for-fun record with no prizes.
• If you tamper with records or send abnormal requests to the server, we may delete your record and block you from the ranking.

5. Deleting your record

You can take your nickname and record off the ranking anytime with Settings › Ranking Nickname › Delete My Record. See the Privacy Policy for the information we process.

6. Remove Ads purchase (iPhone and iPad)

• The iPhone and iPad app offers an optional one-time (non-consumable) purchase, Remove Ads. The price is shown in the App Store in your local currency. The Android app has no in-app purchases.
• What it does: banner ads disappear, and item and continue rewards that used to require watching a rewarded ad are given instantly without an ad. The number of rewards and where you can get them stay the same as in the free version. There is no paid currency and nothing random is sold.
• Payment is processed by the App Store through your Apple Account. With the same Apple Account, you can get it back after changing devices or reinstalling with Settings › Remove Ads › Restore Purchases.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, the Remove Ads effect is removed as well. Your rights under the consumer laws of your country or region are not affected.
• If you were charged but the effect isn't applied, or there's any other problem with the purchase, please contact us below.

7. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will note the revision date on this page and ask for your agreement again in the app for important changes.
